Ben and I decided that we needed to do something 'fun' to reward ourselves for the triathlon, so other than going to Sonic afterward, I found out that the Braves were in town ... so naturally I wanted to go to the game. Lucky for us, Ben has a high school friend who actually works for the Nats and got us tickets ... 20 rows behind the Nats dugout (we later learned that these seats were 'bad' compared to what he usually gets ...) Sweet.
The Nats aren't all that good, but sadly, neither are the Braves this year, but the game was actually pretty exciting (lots of home runs), despite the fact that the Braves lost 5-4 and everyone made fun of me for cheering for the losing team. But the game was good, our seats were awesome, and the soft serve in waffle cones was tasty too :)
Of course, we were all so tired from everything that we'd done all day that it was nice to just sit for a few hours (though the seats are RFK are anything but comfortable) and there was a lot of yawning going on ... but we still had a fun time. We couldn't get home to our beds fast enough though! Maybe we're all just getting too old to keep the kind of hours we did yesterday! ha ha
